Angela McRobbie is Emeritus Professor at Goldsmith College, University of London. She is a Fellow of the British Academy and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Glasgow. Her research centres on the creative economy and the fashion industry with reference to the small-scale independent sector. A feminist writer, she is the author of many books and academic articles on various topics such as gender and sexuality, the fashion industry, feminism and the rise of neoliberalism.
